Dear Reader,

In May, I was honored to receive the news that I had been selected as one of the privileged scholars to participate in the “Law and Economics Courses for Doctoral Students and Faculty Members 2025.” Specifically, I was invited to attend the course Learning from Evidence, delivered by Professor Julian Nyarko from Stanford Law School, held at the Study Center of Gerzensee, Swiss National Bank, from June 30 to July 4, 2025.

Participation in this course offered me an invaluable opportunity to deepen my understanding of empirical research methods, which will be instrumental for the implementation of my project examining the use of Law and Economics tools to evaluate whether reverse discrimination poses a threat to the principle of fair competition within the European market.
