Update 10 – Ars Iuris hosted a keynote by Giulio Alvaro Cortesi on his project RULIERD.
I am deeply honored to share this post from the Ars Iuris association at the University of Vienna.
“On 6 May 2026, Ars Iuris hosted a keynote by our Postdoctoral Fellow Giulio Alvaro Cortesi on his EU-funded research project RULIERD, “Investment and EU Law: Reconceptualizing Reverse Discrimination”.
Giulio presented his research on reverse discrimination, the relationship between EU law and international investment law, and his theoretical proposal of “mosaic monism”. The event also offered valuable insights into EU project funding opportunities for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.
Our Student Assistant Felix Grafinger has written a short article about the keynote for our website, available here: https://lnkd.in/dUReHuuK
We sincerely thank Giulio Alvaro Cortesi for his thought-provoking presentation and all participants for the engaging exchange!”
